The iCloud Passwords extensions was first spotted last week, when its mention was seen in the latest version of the iCloud for Windows 10 app. The easiest way to retrieve the desired username and password in iCloud Keychain is by launching Safari and locating Preferences >. Once installed, it will offer automated saved password suggestions on Chrome for Windows and Mac. This extension is only useful for those who use iCloud Keychain as their password manager. They will also be synced when you create new passwords. Follow these simple steps to retrieve your passwords: Open your iPhone’s Settings app. Fortunately, Apple provides a straightforward method to view your saved passwords directly from the Settings app. ![]() Your passwords can now be accessed on both your iPhone and your Windows computer easily. If you are an iPhone user and have saved passwords for various websites and apps, you may have wondered how to access those saved passwords. To do that, launch Settings on your phone and tap 'Passwords & Accounts.' Select 'AutoFill Passwords.' Turn on 'AutoFill Passwords.' And that's it. This extension is a much needed one, especially for those who use both Windows and Apple devices as their daily drivers, or those that use Chrome and Safari browsers. Step 1: Enable AutoFill on Your iPhone The first step is to enable the AutoFill feature on your iPhone. As mentioned, it will also save new passwords created in Chrome on iCloud Keychain for using on Apple devices later. This Chrome extension will allow you to use the same Safari passwords you create on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac when visiting websites in Chrome on your Windows or Mac PC. The iCloud Passwords extension is available for download on the Chrome Web store, and is available for both Windows and Mac versions of Chrome. Apple says iCloud Passwords also saves any new passwords you create in Chrome to your iCloud Keychain so that it is also available on your Apple devices. When you're using Safari, you can easily access passwords or auto-fill shipping and credit card information. ![]() With it, your account names, passwords, and credit card numbers can be safely and securely stored on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad keychain and synced across all your devices using iCloud.
